9th Annual Golf Tournament
ASA-CNM held its 9th Annual Golf Tournament Fund Raiser on August 17, 2014 in Albuquerque NM at Sandia Casino and Golf Resort. New Mexico Blue Skies and cooler than normal temperatures made for a perfect day of Golfing with friends!

Jim Maddox, President of ASA CNM said that 104 men and women from Automotive related shops, businesses and suppliers filled the course to raise funds for the affiliates annual operational expense needs. Businesses are solicited to “sponsor holes” for a nominal fee. Raffle prizes and awards are gathered throughout the year for the event. Maddox says the revenue raised annually during this event will allow the group to host at least one training event for Automotive shop owners and support community events all year long.

The banquette featured Steak and Enchiladas before the awards where Jim’s hand made golf ball trophies and gift certificates are awarded to 5 places. The top 3, middle of the pack and the most “honest golfers” those are the ones with highest scores and received golf lessons along with their trophies. This year’s 1st place paid $200 in gift certificates. Jim says that this is a great event that brings the automotive industry together to shake hands and make and see old friends and everyone had a good time!
